SBP-State Bank Announced 200+ Post 2019 | Education Officer | Exhibition Developer | Archive Lab Assistant The State Bank of Pakistan, the country's Central Bank, regulates the monetary and credit system of Pakistan and encourages its growth in the best national interest with a view to ensuring monetary stability and optimal utilization of the productive resources of the country. To further strengthen the institutional capacity and as part of the Strategic Plan to strengthen the Human Resources base in the Museum and Archive Functions, the applications of qualified professionals with dynamic experience are invited for the following contractual positions based in Karachi.

Archive Conservationist

Responsibilities

Examine, analyze, document and treat the record.

Conduct the condition examination of the works to be treated.

Demonstrate excellence in the performance of complex conservation treatments.

Practical knowledge of the chemical and material sciences.
Use digital cameras and electronic resources in the processing of documentation.

Knowledge of the conservation standards of archive mats and dwellings, for environmental conditions.
Design conservation strategies based on knowledge of materials, chemical processes and aesthetic and ethical considerations.
Work effectively and constructively, independently and as part of a team, be attentive and participate in laboratory activities.

Eligibility criteria:


Qualification:

Master's or Bachelor's degree (16 years) in Chemistry or equivalent from institutions recognized by HEC or an accredited foreign university.

Age Required:

Maximum 31 years. Relaxing in case of additional work experience.

Experience:

3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Archive Lab Assistant


Responsibilities


Undertake the inspection of the material brought in the Archives Department, make an evaluation and suggest the measures regarding its treatment, conservation and storage conditions.

Prepare status reports and treatment proposals.
Provide adequate documentation of all work, including photographic records.

Conduct periodic inspections and generate the report according to the status of the records and storage requirements in the Department.


Make the entries of the documents / materials that come to the section and return them, against those lists, to the sections in question.
Produce treatment proposals and clear and precise costs, and discuss the details and implications of the treatment with the line manager

Qualification:

Master's or Bachelor's degree (16 years) in Chemistry (Organic / Inorganic) or equivalent of institutions recognized by HEC or an accredited foreign university.

Age Required:

Maximum 31 years. Relax in case of additional work experience.

Experience:

3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.


Exhibition Developer



Responsibilities


Conceptualization, planning, research, development, writing and execution of all visual and text content. Creating initial, computer-generated three-dimensional visual design sketches, sometimes building models and prototypes
Coordination and consultation with curators, academics and specialists for the development of museum exhibitions and exhibition contents.
Check the content of the material.
Conduct research of graphic materials for projects such as images and videos.
Develop, write and present ideas of all visual, audiovisual and graphic content concepts.
Review text and visual contents included in graphic panels.
Coordinate and coordinate with the curator the content and implementation.
Work with the supervisor to plan a long-term strategy for screens
Investigation of artists and selection of works.
Research, design, manufacture and coordinate exhibitions in the museum.

Master's or Bachelor's degree (16 years) in Graphic Design / Fine Arts / Interior Architecture or equivalent of institutions recognized by HEC or an accredited foreign university.

Age Required:

Maximum 31 years. Relax able in case of exceptional qualification or additional work experience

Experience:

3 years of relevant post-qualification experience


Possibility of outlining and / or modeling three-dimensional spaces. Ability to design exhibitions that use audiovisual, mechanical and computer elements.


Education Officer


Responsibilities


Keep in touch with schools, organize visits and offer educational sessions in the place.
Identify key areas to add value to school visits and develop curricular resources

Keep up with curricular developments, making sure that educational programs are relevant to the national curriculum.
Facilitate access to the museum's collection.
Produce brochures, guides and information packages for schools, universities and visitors in general.
Coordinate and / or impart teaching, conferences and guided visits.
Undertake outreach work, including bringing artifacts to the community
Organize practical demonstrations, role-playing games, storytelling sessions and other related activities
Organize event programs to improve the enjoyment and understanding of visitors.
Work with other museum staff to develop and market the museum and event programs.
Execute vacation activities for children and families.

Identify creative ways to ensure that the museum's objectives match the needs of visitors in a wide range of subject areas

Master's or Bachelor's degree (16 years) in education / museology / social sciences or equivalent of institutions recognized by HEC or an accredited foreign university.

Age Required:

Maximum 31 years. Relaxing in case of exceptional qualification or additional work experience

Experience:

3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
