There are 18 different fields available for selection in the medical branch.Recruitment candidates must undergo 24 weeks of training.
Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will receive the rank of Squad Leader for Specialists, GDMO and Flight Lieutenant for Dental Surgeons.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must have completed MBBS with at least a second division or equivalent and specialization in any of the following fields of any local or foreign institute recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC).On October 13, 2019, the age limit for these positions is 29 to 48 years.
Ophthalmologist: the candidate must have completed FCPS, FRCS (OPTH), American Board Diplomat.
Urologist: The candidate must have done the FCPS / FRCS / Diplomat American Board.
Anesthetist: the candidate must have FCPS / FRCA / Diplomat American Board.
Rehabilitation and physiotherapist: the candidate must have completed F&PC / FRCP / MRCP / Diplomat in American Board R&PM or equivalent.
Orthopedic surgeon: the candidate must have completed the FCPS / FRCS / Diplomat American Board.
Specialist in children: the candidate must have done FCPS / MRCP / MRCP / FRCPH / Diplomat American Board.
Disease Version (Female): Candidate must have done FCPS / MRCOG / FRCG / Diplomat American Board.
Accident and Emergency Specialist: FCEM or Equivalent Candidate (USA) / FRCEM / Board Certified / Eligible American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABMM) / Certified by the Eligible Board American Board of Emergency Medicine What is the Mandatory certification to complete emergency medicine training?
ENT: The candidate must have completed FCPS / MRCS (ENT) / FRCS (ENT) / Diplomatic American Board.

Heart disease: the candidate must have performed FCPS in Heart disease.
Medical expert: the candidate must have done the FCPS / MRCP / FRCP / Diplomatic American Board.
Surgical specialist: the candidate must have done the FCPS / FRCS / Diplomatic American Board.
Pulmonologist: the candidate must have obtained FCPS / FRCS / equivalent qualification in Pulmonology.
Gastroenterologist: the candidate must have obtained the FCPS / FRCP / equivalent qualification in the gastrointestinal tract.
How to apply for PAF 2019 jobs:
Candidates should visit the PAF website. Once you go there, you will see the red Register Online button. You must click the Register online button to apply online at PAF.You must bring all your original educational documents / Certificates / Degrees / Diploma. In addition, you are also asked to bring 02 certified photographs of the passport size, photocopy of the national identity card of the father and the self.
Note that the old NIC / Form "B" will not be acceptable.
Selection process:
First, you must register online through the PAF website joinpaf.gov.pkSubsequently, the shortlisted candidates will pass the intelligence-based test followed by an academic test in related subjects in I&SC.
After that, once again, the shortlisted candidates will go through the initial medical examination and the I&SC interview.
Eligible candidates will undergo a psychological test.
Interview with the First Special Selection Board of AHQ.
Last medical exam at CMB Lahore.
The second interview of the AHQ Special Selection Board.
Final selection of candidates by order of merit through AHQ
